Dauwn Parker received the prestigious Leadership Coach of the Year award for 2023 from the Female Voice Awards presented by WomELLE. This award recognizes Dauwn‘s outstanding achievements and leadership in coaching and mentoring other women leaders.
Dauwn Parker is the founder and CEO of Precision Partners, a thriving consulting firm specializing in advancement operations and CRM integration for higher education and healthcare institutions. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Dauwn leveraged her academic abilities and passion for technology to build a successful career in information technology, starting as an IT support specialist at IBM before becoming a network engineer.
Seeing the lack of diversity in the tech field, especially for Black women, inspired Dauwn to excel in her career and blaze trails for other minorities. Her most significant achievements include developing an offshore development framework at AT&T to increase project profit margins and shorten delivery time and chairing the Blackbaud CRM Advisory Committee for City of Hope to engage customers.
Dauwn founded Precision Partners in 2013, competing with firms ten times the size yet still landing premier institutions as clients. Her philosophy is bringing value with every interaction through deep expertise, individualized attention, and focus. Dauwn ruptured her ACL recently but draws on the perseverance she learned from her grandmother to continue thriving personally and professionally. Her approach is to face every challenge with fierce resolve and no limits.
