In the bustling world of human resources, where the success of an organization hinges on the well-being and satisfaction of its employees, few individuals have left as profound an impact as Nicole Craveiro. As the Founder and CEO of CraveHRO, a trailblazing firm specializing in Human Resources (HR) consultation, Nicole has emerged as a force to be reckoned with, challenging the status quo and redefining the role of HR in today’s dynamic workplaces.

Armed with an impressive array of credentials—MHRM, PHR, SHRM-CP, PMQ—Nicole possesses a rare combination of expertise, empathy, and unwavering commitment to driving positive change. Over the years, she has distinguished herself as a fractional Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), spearheading transformational initiatives in diverse industries throughout New York and beyond. Her ability to facilitate difficult conversations, question conventional wisdom, and champion transformative strategies has earned her accolades as an HR luminary.

Over a decade ago, Nicole embarked on her professional path as a receptionist at an accounting firm. As she swiftly ascended the administrative ladder, progressing from an administrative assistant to an executive assistant, her career seemed to reach its peak when she became the firm administrator at a start-up accounting firm. Little did she know that this role would serve as the catalyst for her transformative journey into the realm of Human Resources.

In a fortuitous turn of events, the start-up accounting firm experienced remarkable growth, tripling its staff within its first year. This expansion necessitated Nicole’s involvement in HR responsibilities, igniting her passion for the field. It became evident to her that HR held far greater allure than her current administrative duties, and she was eager to immerse herself further in this newfound passion.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and personal growth, Nicole decided to return to academia. She pursued a Master’s degree in HR Management at Stony Brook University, a pivotal step that would shape her future trajectory. Despite previous academic challenges, Nicole emerged as an exceptional student, graduating with an outstanding 4.0 GPA, showcasing her unwavering commitment to her chosen path.

Empowered by her newly acquired knowledge and credentials, Nicole ventured into the professional realm as an HR business partner for a payroll company. In the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, she found herself thrust into the demanding role of overseeing HR for 75 clients and managing the needs of over 2,000 employees. This high-pressure environment served as a crucible, forging her expertise and resilience in navigating complex HR challenges during tumultuous times.

Seeking new horizons, Nicole transitioned to an internal HR management position, eager to make a lasting impact on the organization’s culture and employee experience. However, she soon realized that the true motives behind her hiring were veiled, as the company’s leadership seemed more concerned with positioning the business for sale than creating a nurturing and fulfilling work environment. Unwilling to compromise her values, Nicole made the courageous decision to depart from the organization, rejecting any semblance of support for practices that endangered employee well-being.

From this pivotal moment of self-discovery and conviction, CraveHRO was born. Driven by her unwavering commitment to fostering exceptional workplace cultures, Nicole founded her own firm to support small employers in establishing the foundational pillars of HR excellence. Through CraveHRO, she imparts her expertise, helping organizations cultivate a culture that places employee well-being and satisfaction at the forefront.

CraveHRO understands that every business is unique, with distinct HR needs. Recognizing that not all companies require a full-time HR team, they offer Fractional HR services, providing customized solutions that foster competitiveness, compliance, and a thriving workforce. Their experienced HR professionals provide flexible support tailored to the specific requirements of each business.

CraveHRO’s comprehensive range of services covers various crucial aspects of HR management. They help businesses align their HR goals with overall business objectives, develop and implement HR plans, and monitor progress to ensure success. With their expertise in recruitment and talent management, CraveHRO assists in attracting and retaining top talent, creating a strong employer brand, and implementing effective strategies to optimize talent acquisition and management.

Their team works closely with businesses to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures. They prioritize employee engagement through initiatives like surveys, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives. CraveHRO’s fractional HR services provide businesses with flexible expertise without the commitment and expense of a full-time HR team. Their professionals have extensive industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and regulations.

With CraveHRO as a partner, businesses gain access to comprehensive HR solutions that meet their unique needs. By prioritizing HR excellence, organizations can build a solid foundation for success. CraveHRO offers cost-effective services, empowering businesses of all sizes to enhance their HR practices and drive long-term growth.

For small business owners seeking to establish a strong HR foundation, Nicole encourages them to seek external support from professionals like herself. By partnering with experienced HR consultants, businesses can navigate the intricacies of HR management, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

“My advice is to reach out to me or someone like me because HR is not what you do; HR is what we do,” Nicole advises. Small business owners should focus on growing their core business and maximizing its success while entrusting their HR needs to experts. By leveraging the specialized knowledge and experience of HR professionals, entrepreneurs can free themselves from the intricate intricacies of HR management and concentrate on driving business growth.

Nicole acknowledges that while foundational HR resources are available, such as courses, these alone are insufficient for long-term success. HR is an ever-evolving field, especially with the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The landscape is constantly changing, necessitating continuous learning and adaptability. HR professionals like Nicole remain up to date with the latest developments, absorbing and disseminating information to clients in a manner that directly addresses their unique circumstances.

In the dynamic realm of HR, Nicole Craveiro stands as a guiding light, offering transformative solutions to organizations and empowering them to thrive. With her expertise, passion, and commitment to excellence, she is reshaping the HR landscape, one business at a time, leaving an indelible mark on the future of work.

“I strive to create a better environment for employees and make it a great place to go to work every day. It’s why I do what I do.” Nicole Craveiro’s journey from administrative support to HR luminary is a testament to the transformative power of passion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to positively impacting organizations and their employees’ lives.
