1. Drink lot of water

Yes, drinking plenty of water can help you stay healthy. How you ask? When you drink water it flushes out toxins from your body which is important to have a healthy life. It is recommended to drink at least 8 – 10 glasses of water daily. Also, make sure you drink 2 glasses of warm water as the first thing every morning. Drinking warm water in the morning improves digestion and your bowel movement.

2. Exercise Daily

Well, there are many forms of exercises such as yoga, walking, jogging, gyming, swimming, power yoga, running etc., which you can do to stay healthy. However, it is important that you pick up an exercise regime according to your body, age and medical conditions. As, there are several exercises which are prohibited in certain medical conditions. 

3. Balanced Diet

There are lot of things to eat but that doesn’t mean that you will keep on eating. Your diet should be balanced and should contain all the essential minerals and vitamins in it. Food should be eaten according to the stomach and not according to the taste.

4. Eat Food on Time

You should always have your food on time. Long variations in eating time can lead to several digestion related issues which further leads to many other health problems.

5. Limit Consumption of Tea/Coffee

Tea and coffee should be consumed in limitation as these drinks may be good temporarily but do not provide any health benefit. 

6. Avoid Smoking and Drinking Alcohol

Whether you are a social drinker/smoker or a chain smoker it doesn’t matter as long as you are into these habits you are affecting your health. 8. Eat Light Dinners

Make sure your dinners are light. Also, it is important that there is a gap of at least 2 hours between your dinner and sleeping time. Hitting bed immediately after your dinner is the worst habit one can have, it only leads to multiple health issues in long run

9. Meditate

We are in the era of pressure and stress. Hence, it is essential that we spare at least 10 -15 minutes daily for ourselves to mediate, to go within, and to introspect. Meditation is a powerful tool which helps one to de-stress and handle the pressure of life calmly.  

10. Be happy

Last but not the least, be happy! Yes, it is crucial that you are happy. You may say that you are going through the worst in your life but trust you me, taking stress for something you can’t help will not help you anyways, however, being happy even in the adverse situations make you strong mentally, emotionally and physically.
