As a founder, you have started your own venture and taken that first crucial step toward your dream. Now, with this high-profile position of being the owner/CEO comes pressure and responsibilities that cannot be handled alone on an everyday basis. Hence, you need a team of peak performers to execute your vision without depending overly on you. The leadership team is the foundation of any successful business, but even that can face challenges due to stress and distractions that come along with competition and the imminent rat race. Lack of alignment and unsuccessful implementation of strategies can adversely affect the ultimate goals and leave the company vulnerable to failure. Dr. Carrie LaDue, business strategist and peak performance coach, helps leaders develop strategy and drive execution by shattering the status quo and reaching their ambitious goals.  

Change Makers 

Dr. Carrie holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University. She started her career as an educator and went on to coach other teachers. She subsequently worked as a consultant for various companies where she coached leaders, and her passion for coaching found new wings. Having dealt with great and not-so-great leaders, Dr. Carrie realized the impact great leaders can have on the lives of others and how the world, especially in the post-pandemic era, needs strong, empathetic, and caring leaders who can act as difference-makers for the employees as well as the business world.  

Although Dr. Carrie’s consulting jobs were fulfilling, and she traveled across the country coaching people, the bug of starting out on her own to create better leaders kept nagging her. She wrestled with the thought of whether she was equipped enough to create better leaders who could, in turn, create better employees. Armed with strong ideas that were imbibed from her previous experiences, she took the leap of faith toward entrepreneurship to help leaders create healthy, thriving businesses and cultures. 

Making a Difference 

In 2017, Dr. Carrie left full-time employment to become her own boss when she created, launched, and grew a coaching program for new entrepreneurs starting their first online business. From deciding the target market to lead generation, irresistible offers, and online sales and marketing, she taught clients everything that was necessary to launch a successful business. The company served over ten thousand clients through paid programs and free events in two years and grew quickly. Dr. Carrie’s ability to sell the company in less than two years from the launch date speaks volumes about the heights of success it reached under her leadership. 

In 2021, Dr. Carrie founded Limitless Business to help “ambitious business owners and CEOs uplevel their leadership teams through transformative peak performance strategies and tools and break through plateaus to achieve company goals with ease.” The vision was simple: help growing businesses double their profit and increase their team’s productivity. She leverages her previous business experience, the challenges, and the learnings and uses them in her coaching practices with her current venture.

Growth and Productivity 

Limitless Business works towards aligning team and strategy, increasing operational efficiency, and attracting and retaining talent that can achieve high-impact results for the company and its clients. The services offered include developing and implementing strategies, capitalizing on peak performance tools, and building a peak performance culture. Entrepreneurs often mistakenly believe that the only way to success is for everyone in the company to work hard. Dr. Carrie aims to change that mindset and emphasizes that a successful business does not require burnout or stress. Limitless Business offers a unique, customized process of transformation that is long-lasting and meaningful, a commitment to change rather than a one-time event.  

Dr. Carrie’s unique approach starts with strategy and goes on to educate about the necessary leadership behavior changes to execute effectively without stress and overworking. A successful company consists of happy employees, yet so many leaders push their teams beyond their comfort zones. To beat the competition, the employees are overworked with unrealistic deadlines, physically and mentally unhealthy, and often face burnout. With Limitless Business, the leadership team will be able to delegate tasks, focus on essential projects, and reduce waste through concrete planning, actionable tools, top-notch training, and behavioral reprogramming.  

Breaking Through Barriers 

According to Dr. Carrie, entrepreneurs and business leaders face three main challenges – teams that rely too much on leadership, poor time management, and low-profit margins. Limitless Business works to remedy these aspects and empower teams with the proper tools to lead the strategy and increase operational excellence. Although she has a firecracker of a team, Dr. Carrie does her bit in terms of content creation for the core program called Limitless Leaders. “My responsibilities include leading vision and business strategy, building and implementing operational systems, hiring and coaching staff, and marketing services to grow our client base,” she said.  

With burnout, turnover, and decreased productivity handled, the companies’ clients have experienced great results. “We are much more supportive of one another and see the consequences of our actions if we do not hold each other accountable,” said Jenn Piper, Director, Client Service. 

Sustainable Growth 

Dr. Carrie sees business as an incredible lever that has the potential to bring about a positive change in the world when the leaders are performing at their optimum level. To date, she has coached over 15,000 leaders to become better versions of themselves and led teams and businesses to success. 

Dr. Carrie went from being an over-achiever to focusing on fulfillment, balance, and boundaries. She is also a firm believer in seeing the world with a certain level of positivity and spotting the silver lining. For women who wish to venture out on their own, Dr. Carrie asks them not to give up. “Be clear about what you want and your dreams. When things seem the hardest, and you are at a breaking point, that is when you are at your growth period. I have been close to giving up, but then I saw what was on the other side of the challenge as it was so beautiful. Be persistent, as no one is going to hand it to you on a platter,” she said.
