With the advent of social media, digital marketing is no longer a niche industry. It is considered essential for businesses to thrive and grow. In order to engage prospects, drive traffic, and generate quality leads, it has become an integral part of marketing activities across industries. Brands that aim to succeed in today’s fast-paced digital world need marketers to ensure their products and services get “seen and heard” online through various channels. These experts are highly sought-after for their creativity, technical skills, and analytical thinking. Digital marketer and founder of Menapoly Digital LLC, Prissly Mena, has been helping businesses leverage their product transparency to create brand value and drive sales.

Vision and Mission

Prissly had a normal, middle-class upbringing with immigrant parents. In addition to acquiring a drafting license in architecture, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations and went on to earn two master’s degrees in Film and Advertising and Digital Marketing. Her work calls (as a digital marketer) took her around the world, where she soaked in different cultures and interactions with people, spurring her desire to unite the world. Her quest for knowledge and connecting with people on various levels led her to take the leap into starting her own venture.

Starting Menapoly Digital LLC

Entrepreneurship happened by chance to Prissly when an acquaintance sought her help to build a business by creating connections and selling homemade products. Not only did she take up the assignment as a challenge, but she also went on to start Menapoly Digital LLC in 2014 with the primary aim of implementing social media engagement strategies for clients that not only increased their online presence but also increased revenue. Helping add a human culture to the brand persona, the company offers comfort, understanding, and, most importantly, empathy, which in turn builds a good brand image.

Prissly assists in coaching executive social media handles and copywriting, creating graphics, and building/improving synergy when it comes to a brand’s tone and voice. Further, she also analyzes social media engagement data and customer profiles to help clients reach new niche markets. In a world full of competition, Prissly advocates helping each other by teaching and nurturing one’s qualities and skills by building templates, habits, and mindsets that allow one to grow a connection with one another. In short, she offers the clients a holistic view of the brand by asking questions and evaluating their stand. This approach, she believes, builds a more robust brand loyalty from the prospective audience, along with a thicker bond between businesses. Her work speaks for itself, as she achieved a 30% engagement increase and a 62% revenue increase at GAOTek.

Never Giving Up

Prissly’s personal struggle with autism was something that she had a hard time navigating, but that did not deter her from pursuing her passion. Not one to believe in “fitting in”, she believes that being different is what makes people stand out, and that should be the outlook to any manner of adversity in your personal and professional life. Having been overlooked many times due to her condition, Prissly understands the importance of “visibility,” as proving herself has been her biggest challenge. Although social media can sometimes feel crowded, drowning a person’s voice, she stresses perseverance, which is the key to going ahead.

Road Ahead

In the six years since the beginning of Menapoly Digital LLC, Prissly has worked with numerous brands for paid campaigns, content creation, and SEO optimization, as well as long-tail keywords, to drive increased website traffic for businesses. The company is looking at solidifying its local reach and aims to reach the national level. Plans of conducting workshops that will act as emotional intelligence boot camps and mixers for professionals to meet and connect are also in the pipeline.

Being an entrepreneur herself, Prissly knows how the business world can throw curve balls now and then, which might demotivate a person. Therefore, she advises to have a plan and stick to it. “Work hard, no matter what anyone tells you. Juggling multiple responsibilities can be hard, and the struggle might seem daunting. But grit and determination will help you reach your goal. We all deserve a break, so do not feel disheartened. As women, we should walk to break boundaries and not run to break ourselves,” Prissly suggests.
