The list is a record of 26 women now billionaires and have achieved a space in the list. Out of which, there are fifteen new women who reached the spot and became the richest women in business. Today, we have featured five influential women in business who are billionaires and achieved this spot. The list was released on 14 th April 2022. 1. Francoise Bettencourt Meyers  

Francoise Bettencourt Meyers is a French businesswoman, writer, philanthropist, and pianist. She tops the list and is the richest woman in the world. Her net worth is estimated to be $78.4 billion, which brings her to the list of the wealthiest women in the world. Besides this, she also holds the 13th position among the wealthiest persons in the world. She has stakes in L’Oréal, which she stemmed from her mother. She is 67 years old and has been serving the company as a Board from 1997. The company stocks rose because of the increasing demand for skincare products. She owns about 33% of the stakes, which have helped her grow and make huge fortunes.   

2. Alice Walton  

The second woman who has reached the spot is Alice Walton. Alice is the daughter of Sam Walton, who is also the founder of the American Multinational retail corporation Walmart. She also holds the 20 th position among the wealthiest persons in the world and sets an example for many women out there. Women in business are experimenting each day, and Alice also has been focused on curating art. She also owns a personal art collection that is also worth millions. Her net worth is $70.8 billion, which brings her to the second position.

3. Julia Koch    

Julia Koch marks a new entry to the richest women in business list. She has a net worth of $62.5 billion and is 58 years old. Her source of wealth is Koch Industries, which is America’s largest multinational conglomerate corporation based in Kansas. She and her children inherited stakes in the company after her husband died. Julia Koch holds a 42% stake in the company, which is her source of income and brings her to the list of the richest women in business. Julia also had an interest in fashion and has served as an assistant to leading fashion designer Adolfo.    

4. MacKenzie Scott  

MacKenzie Scott is the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. She divorced Jeff in 2019 and received 25% of Amazon’s stake as a part of her divorce settlement. Her net worth is $46.6 billion, which brings her to the list of billionaires. Besides this, MacKenzie is also a philanthropist and novelist. Forbes has even ranked her as one of the most influential and powerful women leaders globally. She has also won rewards for her novel and also achieved the position of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in 2020.   

5. Jacqueline Mars  

The last richest woman in business on our list is Jacqueline Mars, the fifth wealthiest woman in the world. Mars, one of the leading manufacturers of candies, pet care, and food products, was founded by Jacqueline’s grandfather. She now holds one-third of the company and has a net worth of $31.3 billion. Jacqueline Marse is 81 years old and serves as a great example to women. She has also helped the company and worked in different roles for a period of 20 years. Jacqueline also served on the board until 2016 and is one of the richest women in business that we admire. She is also one of the influential business leaders that one should follow.
